Meet Deepa Traders
We supply the fleets, plants and workshops of coastal Karnataka — and industries across India — from two counters in Mangaluru: one opposite the MRPL Cargo Gate at Balakatipalla, the other on the national highway at Surathkal.
Our story
We are an authorised distribution business. We hold agency directly with a long list of multinational and Indian brands — Castrol, Shell, MAK, Motul, VEEDOL and Bosch among the lubricants — and we deal with Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum besides.
Around that sits everything else a working vehicle or plant needs: spares for heavy and light commercial makes, batteries of every type, tyres from two-wheeler to off-the-road, Macneill forklift spares and service, cranes and compressors, machinery and vehicle sales for industry, and the hardware, tools and safety gear a workshop runs through. Two retail counters, an industrial-supplies division and a wholesale business.
Authorised agents for
Sixty-five years in the automobile and auto-spares trade.
Established in 1961, the business has grown from a single counter into thirty-plus authorised product lines across two branches in Mangaluru.
A lifetime in the auto spares trade.
Our founder, Sri Mairpady Ramesh, joined the motor trade in March 1961 and built the business one counter at a time. In 2014 the Dakshina Kannada Automobile & Tyre Dealers Association honoured him with its Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his contribution to the automobile and auto-spares industry.
Our values
They are not posters on a wall. They are the reasons customers keep coming back to the same counter.
Win for the customer
We sit on the same side of the table as our customers — their wins are our wins.
Default to transparency
We believe in honesty, transparency, and kindness. It’s about how you get things done and not just what gets done.
Proximity is the point
Two counters — opposite the MRPL Cargo Gate at Balakatipalla, and on the national highway at Surathkal.
When a vehicle is down, that distance is the whole difference.
Genuine, always
We would rather lose a sale than substitute a look-alike part.
Authorised supply means the warranty still stands when you fit it.
